Thank you for listening and watching! Out of the songs I've written, "The View" is definitely one of the more lyrically raw ones. It's about being pretty far down the road of recovery from addiction but not quite having it in your grip. I likened the feeling to being trapped in a room, staring out at the view. And being motivated to give it another push. This song is very special to me and took me a long time to make, between writing, recording all the instruments, and shooting and editing the video. I'm excited to finally share it! Be sure to check out the music video on YouTube!
